We collect the following personal identification information: - email address - username - name - bio We also collect the poks submitted by the users. Note on passwords: while you provide a password at the time you register onto the platform, we only store a cryptographic fingerprint of it (a.k.a hash) and cannot see its actual value.

You directly provide Futuure with most of the data it collects. We collect data and process data when you: - Register online and create an account - Update your personal information - Create a pok - Subscribe to a pok - Send us a message via the contact form No data is collected when you read information on the platform without an active session.
How will we use your data? §
We collect this data for the purpose of powering the platform's features. For instance, email addresses are used to provide a password recovery option and to notify about new interesting activity on the platform. Futuure currently does not share any data with other organizations.
How do we store your data? §
Futuure securely stores your data in a database within its hosted infrastructure in Limburg, Germany. A regular backup of the data is performed and an encrypted export is sent to another location for recovery purpose.
What are your data protection rights?§
We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following: The right to access – You have the right to request Futuure for copies of your personal data. The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Futuure corrects any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Futuure to complete the information you believe is incomplete. The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Futuure erases your personal data. For Poks specifically, the platform will leave the url of the pok available and publicly display a page indicating that the content has been deleted upon request, thus avoiding any abuse of the prediction trust that Futuure provides. The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Futuure restricts the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions. The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Futuure’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions. The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Futuure transfers the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you.
